Laboratory Write-ups

A write-up of each experiment will be required in the form of a data sheet, results, and brief discussion. Data sheets will be due at the beginning of the week following completion of the laboratory experiment. Formal laboratory reports will be required for selected laboratories. Formal write-ups should consist of a title page, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results (including graphs, tables, etc.), a discussion of the results, and references. Guidelines for formal reports will be distributed in class. Remember, attendance is mandatory for laboratory sessions. More than three unexcused laboratory absences will lower your course grade by one letter grade.

*indicates no write-up due for this lab. **indicates formal lab report required.
