Images of Bent Paperclips

The image on the left is of a paperclip that has been bent 6 times and is at the same level of magnification as "unbent2." Although not visible to the naked eye, stress fractures can clearly be seen forming perpendicular to the axis of the paperclip. This image is titled "bent1."
